We are pleased to announce the addition of a new member to the management team of the Hydraulic Division of the UFI Group:
Mr. Michael Clarkson joins our team as Sales Director for EMEA (Europe Middle-East &Africa) and as Global Business Development Director for hydraulic filtration.
Although new to the World of hydraulic filtration, Michael comes from a sound filtration background and has spent the last 27 years of his career in compressed air and gas filtration employed by the former UK-based manufacturer domnick hunter, a group of companies subsequently acquired in 2005 by the Parker Hannifin Corporation (Ohio, USA).
The majority of Michael’s career has been spent in Germany, where prior to the Parker acquisition he was General Manager of domnick hunter’s sales organisation in that country for 15 years. During that time, the organisation successfully developed not only the German market for domnick hunter products, but also spearheaded investment into Eastern Europe. Michael was directly involved in the acquisition of the then, privately owned German compressed air treatment company Zander Aufbereitungstechnik GmbH (Essen), to be followed, two years later by the acquisition of the Italian refrigeration and cooling technology manufacturer, Hiross SpA, situated in Padova.
For the past 8 years, Michael has been responsible for Marketing and Business Development for the Parker Hiross Zander Division, based in Germany and Italy, but with primary responsibility for the sale of compressed air and gas treatment products throughout the EMEA region.
He has successfully run a department comprising Business Development Managers, Market Development Managers, Product Management and Marketing Communications situated in Padova, Italy and Essen, Germany.
The move to the Hydraulic Division of the UFI Group and to Italy for Michael represents an opportunity to strengthen the Company existing sales network, support sales-growth into new applications and new geographical areas, and adds additional sales and marketing experience to further the development of the organisation’s overall Global-reach.
We warmly welcome Michael to the management of our organisation and take this opportunity to wish him every success.
